A bit about me
I'm originally from Denmark and now based in Norwich, Norfolk.
I started out with photography and video, before gradually moving further into websites and the systems behind them. I became increasingly interested in why some websites work better than others, how people move through them, and how the decisions behind the design affect what happens at the other end.
That eventually brought the two sides of my work together.
Today I design and build websites, alongside the photography and video that support them. I like understanding both sides of the equation: how something looks and feels, but also how it is structured, how it performs and what it needs to achieve for the business.
That's why I tend to get involved beyond just the visual layer. I'll look at the content, the hierarchy, the customer journey and the technical side of things, as well as the imagery and presentation.
What I work on
I work with businesses where the website has a meaningful role to play, whether that's selling products, generating enquiries or simply being the main place people go to understand the business.
That can mean a full rebuild, a new Shopify store, a custom or headless build, or simply improving an existing site that has outgrown its original design.
The platform matters less to me than choosing the right approach for the business.
How I work
I work directly with founders and small teams, without a large agency structure sitting between us.
Projects are structured and collaborative, but I don't believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. You'll be involved where your knowledge of the business matters, and I'll take responsibility for the work in between.
If something needs specialist input outside my own skill set, I bring in people I trust and work alongside them. I don't try to do everything myself, and I'm happy to bring in the right expertise when it's needed.
I work with businesses across Norfolk and East Anglia, as well as further afield.
