Tropical Landscaping Ltd
Award-winning landscaping and garden design in Norwich - migrated from WordPress.com to a bespoke Next.js site built for portfolio, enquiries, and long-term performance.
The brief
Tropical Landscaping is an award-winning landscaping and garden design company in Norwich, working across Norfolk and Suffolk. Their existing WordPress.com site was holding back performance, flexibility, and the quality of presentation their work deserves.
They needed a platform that could showcase garden transformations properly, support enquiry flows, and give them room to grow - without the constraints and overhead of a hosted WordPress setup.
The build
I rebuilt the site on Next.js with a structure tailored to how landscaping businesses actually sell: strong project portfolio, clear service pages, accreditations, testimonials, and straightforward quote and contact routes.
The migration covered content restructuring, performance-focused delivery, and a presentation layer that lets project photography and case studies do the selling - in keeping with an Huws Gray Landscaper of the Year winner.
